Dr. Pushkar Joshi
Chief Innovation Officer at One Mind

Dr. Pushkar Joshi is Chief Innovation Officer at One Mind, where he works at the intersection of neuroscience, science and technology policy, and strategic communications to accelerate research and innovation for brain disorders. A developmental neurobiologist by training, he joined One Mind in 2021.
Prior to One Mind, Dr. Joshi was Director of Strategy & Business Development at the Palo Alto neurotechnology startup Inscopix, where he built the company's business strategy, forged partnerships with research institutions and nonprofits, and supported financing efforts. He aligned Inscopix with the Obama Administration's BRAIN Initiative by creating the $2 million DECODE Grant Program for biomarker discovery, and organized two multi-stakeholder summits — DECODE 2016 (Precision Neurotherapeutics) and DECODE 2020 (The State of Mental Health) — spotlighting brain health and elevating the lived-experience voice.
Dr. Joshi received his PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester and completed postdoctoral training at Stanford University. He is an alumnus of the Christine Mirzayan Science & Technology Policy Fellowship at the National Academy of Sciences and of Stanford Graduate School of Business's Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
